International Women’s Day Concert (WUK, Vienna)

WUK (Werkstätten- und Kulturhaus) marked International Women’s Day in March 2015 with community-focused programming and live music. While the venue’s public archives no longer list a detailed lineup for the specific concert, the house’s March reports confirm Women’s Day activities and related March events foregrounding diverse, women-led and migrant artistic voices. In the same month WUK also hosted an anti-racism day with live acts from the Vasara Ensemble, Zagros & Kaya, Otito Aye and DJ Koffi Leon—illustrating the cultural environment around the IWD program.

Baharak’s Performance

Baharak Abdolifard appeared as a vocalist at the Women’s Day concert. Her contribution is characterized by an intimate, actorly presence and clear, narrative phrasing—qualities consistent with her screen and stage work—bringing a reflective tone to the evening’s program.
